About the Jewellery Quarter

Interesting and fascinating places to see, eat and explore.

Wonderful World of Trains & Planes would, of course, be your first stop, but it you have the time to explore the rest of the area you will find lots of interesting and fascinating places to see, eat and explore.

St Paul’s Church stands in the heart of the Georgian square, proudly looking down Ludgate Hill and on to the city centre. It was the church of Birmingham’s early manufacturers and merchants, with industrialists Matthew Boulton and James Watt having their own pews. St Paul’s Square is now home to Wonderful World of Trains & Planes, with a range of creative and professional businesses by day and great food and entertainment by night.

A short walk from St Paul’s Square will take you directly into the Jewellery Quarter, a historic area that is now a mixture of museums, restaurants, jewellery shops, hotels, creative businesses, quirky coffee shops and city living.
